Aliens

As one of – if not the – greatest action heroines to ever hit the silver screen, Sigourney Weaver’s unstoppable Ellen Ripley kicks all the asses and takes all the names throughout one of the most iconic sci-fi action franchises films of all time.

After floating in space for 57 years, Lt. Ripley's (Weaver) shuttle is found by a deep space salvage team. Upon arriving at LV-426, the marines find only one survivor, a nine year old girl named Newt (Carrie Henn). But even these battle-hardened marines with all the latest weaponry are no match for the hundreds of aliens that have invaded the colony.

"Cameron is a master of machinery and weaponry, a technical wizard who replaces Scott's refinement with his own kind of muscularity... But with either film, you leave the theater drained, physically exhausted, well-rewarded for all your suffering." (Newsday)

"It's like a romantic symphony that won't come to an end. But it keeps you high." (New York Magazine)

"Delivering generously on the promise he demonstrated in The Terminator, Cameron has given us a seamless motion picture that transforms its not-for-all-tastes subject matter into the stuff of across-the-board appeal." (Fort Worth Star-Telegram)
