Digger
Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alejandro G. Iñárritu (THE REVENANT, BIRDMAN, AMORES PERROS) takes one of the year's "biggest swings" with his latest film, DIGGER. An almost unrecognizable Tom Cruise stars as eccentric, wealthy oil tycoon Digger Rockwell (who may be the most powerful man in the world). When his reckless drilling causes a massive environmental disaster—triggering a catastrophic Arctic ice-shelf break that threatens a global tsunami—he embarks on a frantic mission to save the world and convince people he is their savior. With Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Jesse Plemons.
